In the
guided catalogue of Lavoisier's instrument kept at the Musée des arts et
métiers - Cnam (Paris) the objects have been arranged by inventory number.
The list includes also thos items which, after their donation in 1954,
have been lost. Since not all
the items of the Lavoisier’s collection kept at the Musée are
instruments, to search for a complete list of the Lavoisier’s collection
it is necessary to click on the Institution’s name. Although they have
not yet been located, few instruments had been donated by Lavoisier’s
heirs to the University of Clermont-Ferrand and a few have remained with
George Dupont after 1954. The consultation of this section offers two
alternative options: 1. Gallery (an overview of all the available digital photos of
instruments); 2. Catalogue
(the complete list of the instruments arranged by inventory number). |
