Abstract: Thermometer (broken at bulb) in a wooden case, mounted on brass support with silver gilt scale. Scale marked from 0° to 20°, each unit divided into five parts: below 0° the scale is marked to 3 in figures and there are four divisions marked below this. The scale cerries a sliding Vernier, moving in a slit behind the stem of the thermometer. There is a ring at the top of the brass scale for suspension. No maker's name.
