Abstract: Set of weights in brass, 8 onces, 4 onces, 2 onces, 1 once, 4 gros, all stamped with denomination. The lowest four fit inside one another like a series of tubs (of Chinese puzzle) and these then fit into the 8 onces weight, similarly shaped, but with hinged lid and claps. Outside is marked '1 livre'. Below the '1 livre' is also marked '500 G'.
