Abstract: (1785-11-07): Letter of Meusnier de la Place to Lavoisier from Cherbourg. Suggests that the balloon which Fortin attached to the ceiling must have lost some hydrogen and probably no longer supports itself, and that in this case Fortin should remove it before the séance publique.
