Abstract: (1793-07-17) (1793-07-18): Lavoisier sends two letters to Lakanal the first accompained by hios Observations sur l'Académie des sciences. In first communication he draws a line between scientific and non scientific learned societies and in the second dissociates scientist and artisan.
