Text: Géographie minéralogique de la France
Comment: Without Lavoisier's ex-libris but from the Chazelles collection of Lavoisier's books. This manuscript contains extensive and detailed information on the scientific excursions made by Lavoisier and Guettard in the mid-1760's. It also contains letters or extracts from letters from French scientists of the 1750's and 1760's. This work was probably used by Lavoisier and Guettard as a source for their Atlas et Description minéralogique de la France (published in 1780). Most of the manuscript is in a scribe's hand but there are several leaves in Guettard's hand.
