Component's data
Type: map
Comment: This map bears Lavoisier's handwirrten numeration (25) on the upper right part of the folio. It is therefore likely that this map was in proof state. According to Monnet (on p. xii of the 1780 edition of the Atlas) this map was exclusively conceived by Guettard but it is now known that all geological cross-section were authored by Lavoisier and that Guettard disagree with their inclusion in the maps.
